I know that gordon can understand that because it's a competition, it's designed to put everyone in a high stress environment, and people will make mistakes in similar high stress environments and that's why he didn't yell.

As Gordon mellows out, he's getting more fun to watch. It went from the fascination of watching a lion tear creatures apart in his kingdom... to watching a wise and scarred warrior who chooses to rule a bit differently - commanding equal respect but touching our hearts more.

Gordon isn't a “monster” like many people say. He plays a character of himself so people tune in, it's heavily edited, and he gets upset when people that should know better don’t. He understands that mistakes happen, that having a judge of sorts and a film crew in the kitchen (an already busy and high stress environment) add to the stress. Hopefully this little experience was a moment of learning and I know that was what Gordon hoped for too.
