Ingredients:-
For the Fish:-
4 fillets firm white fish
6oz plain flour
1 tsp bicarbonate soda
Juice of 1/2 lemon
8 floz of cold beer

For the Chips:-
Large potatoes (cut into chips)
Oil for frying
Salt and pepper

Method:-
The Chips:-
In a pan heat oil and gently fry the potato chips on a low flame for 5- 7 minutes, take out and then let them rest on a paper towel. Continue with frying the fish and once done, fry the chips again in the same oil till crispy and golden brown.

The Fish:-
In a bowl, add flour, bicarbonate soda, salt, ground black pepper and beer while stirring continuously, lemon juice and whisk into a batter.
In a plate take some flour, salt, ground pepper and coat the fish with the flour properly. Then dip the flour-coated fish in the batter.
Heat oil in a pan and deep fry the coated fish in it.

Delicious and authentic British Fish And Chips are ready to serve with salt and vinegar. HAPPY COOKING!!!

I really don't understand the obsession with accents. It's sad to see people confuse strong English/American accents with strong knowledge of the English language. I'm an Indian my self who grew up in North America. I sound just like a native English speaker. I do not pride myself in having the most vast knowledge of the English language simply because of Mh accent. I am proud to be a speaker of the English language. I am passionate about learning about the English language. If you are also proud of the English language and love to speak it but have an accent you should not feel any less qualified to speak it. You should embrace every part of you. Accents are not something to be ashamed of. I lot Indians have a strong accent when speaking English. And that is okay. I personally think accents are beautiful and they represent the history of the person. Nothing to be ashamed of. Whether you have an Indian accent or an English accent, be proud.
