As a bengali myself, I am stunned, the method, ingredients and everything was on point and it turned out amazing! Ilish machh (the fish he used) is one of the most popular types of fish in bengal and one of my favourites too so seeing this made me want the fish soo bad, but great job man, I'm so happy and proud to see that our culture is getting recognised ( and just a pro tip - have it with rice cause that's as traditional as you can get and it's the most usual and normal way and side to have fish with atleast in bengal )😃

Heyy. I really appreciate that you are presenting a bangladeshi cuisine. Also, rohinga crisis is a really important issue. But the fish you used is not hilsha. The English for ilish is hilsha. Try out hilsha if you can. The flesh is really flaky and has a really nice flavor. You can fry it, make a curry with mustard, steam it with polau. It really easy to cook.

And as you live in Canada. I know a lot of bengali stays there. You can contact them to get hilsha fish.
