Coccidiosis is a common disease that can occur in your chickens. Prevention begins with immunity-building in chicks and getting treatment started right away with signs appear.

In this video, Rick from TSC discusses the treatment of a sometimes deadly disease that occurs in poultry. Prevention consists of helping your flock build up their immunity to the disease beginning while they are chicks. Treatment is not difficult, but should be done as soon as the first signs appear in your chickens.

mine get it almost every fall when it gets cold and wet , just bye a 50 pound bag of medicated feed for about 13 bucks, give them a scoop or two with there normal feed, mine have always been completely fine about 24 hours later !!

I'm half tempted to broadcast spray this stuff in my run area to get rid of that crap in my sandy soil. On my second outbreak of this awful parasite and not happy with losing birdies from it. What an invasive parasite. Ridiculously so.

It says on the corid 9.6% bottle to add 6 tbsp to 1 pint of water for a 5 day treatment. What you said for a dosage in the comments is 9.5 ml per gallon. So why is your measurement so low?
