I think other people here doesn't realize that Leonardo is both a Scientific Genius and an Artistic Genius, now we see people nowadays that are only Genius on one aspect of those two, but Leonardo is both. That's extraordinary in so many ways

Or, more likely, he meets up with a learned hermit in the cave who takes the young man under his wing and teaches him a few things. Trust me, there are very old hermits who live in those caves in Italy.

He was an excellent artist/painter...he could have drawn anything he would have seen in the future in detail, so no he was not visited by aliens. He was just a genius and an artist.

It’s nothing like that. He was a visionary, and he already guessed about the future. He was obsessed with the machines. He was obsessed with the science, and studied all the stuff in depth. He may have given some msg in his pics, but that doesn’t necessarily makes him a time traveler or being visited by aliens. Maybe he received some information from secret societies? We’ll never know. One thing for sure - he was a gifted man and had incredible brain !

He could've gotten a more precise examination of things in the future but it was really dark deep in the cave. So- he draws and explains what he saw with as much clear vision that he had.

Verrocchio, for whom Leonardo worked as an apprentice, used lead-based paint and heavy brush strokes. He left a note for Leonardo to finish the background and the angel. Leonardo used light brush strokes and no lead. When the Annunciation was x-rayed, Verrocchio's work was evident while Leonardo's angel was invisible.

If he went to the future why didn’t he draw exactly what he seen. He’s an artist I’m pretty sure he could’ve drawn a tank exactly how a tank looks or a submarine exactly how submarine looks or airplane, instead he designs things we never used.

Codex Hammer is one of Leonardo's finest invention. If you know what is in that book you will be amazed. Why do you think it is one of the most valuable manuscript in the world ( Bill Gates bought it for 30 Million in 1994 ) .
His unbelievable understanding of fluid dynamics is unparalleled even today. He knew things we cant comprehend today
