Ramanujan was humble that's it. All he did was done by himself. He said that godess revealed these equations to me because that's the part of the culture, you always give credit to God because he revealed this stuff through your mind. Most Ancient Indian writers use the Phrase " letting divinity express its idea through me". That was just common courtesy of that time.
