The joining of reversed mirror images at 4 min, works with any picture of a human face. It's not peculiar to Da Vinci's artwork. There is evidence that he hid things in paintings but I don't think that this example can really be taken as one of them.

If you notice all children and babies during this time period were depicted as small adults in art. It has to do with infant mortality rate during those days and that fact many children did not survive to adulthood.

Stare into a mirror long enough anybody will see their own face distort. Take any picture or painting and overlap random images and you crate whatever you think you want to see. Best to stick to hidden meaning in cloud form interpretation.

I adore the critiquing of what was on the Artist’s mind and why? As a celebrated artist, myself, long after I’m gone, they may try to critique why I painted a certain object.
Why? Well I have no agenda but to make people smile. Many times there’s no rhyme or reason.
Did you know the Mona Lisa was stolen from
Louvre and was found later under an Italian’s bed? The man said it was painted by an Italian and should stay in Italy. True story. Love Da Vinci.

If you join the two words Mona Lisa together and then read the new word backwards, you get "Asilanom", who was a good friend of Leonardo's, namely an extraterrestrial from Jupiter hiding in Florence at the time Leonardo painted the portrait - and THAT's who the alien hidden in the portrait is !
