I’m gonna change the game, instead of doing a bro split I’m going to train every muscle over the course of a 30 days. Day 1 is Vastus Lateralis day, day 2 is brachio radialis day and so on.

Bro splits are slept on. Because not only you get the dedicated workout, but also indirect work. Arguably, arms get hit 3 times, on its own day, triceps on indirectly on chest day, and biceps indirectly on back day.
Shoulders also get hit 3 times... I see little to no downsides.

most of my life i did push and pull
then i did push pull legs
now iam back to a bro split
and i make mad gains
(i dont have a restdeay though day 1-5 and repeat)
there are a lot of good reasons for it:
-it makes a huge difference if you hit your triceps fresh or hit it after chest and shoulders
from a neurologic and strength aspect
- i have full focus on every worked muscle
- protein synthesis might be triggered every 48 but that doesnt mean that your muscle is fully regenerated (it might just be me... but i cant just do 3 sets of bench then 4 flys and be done with it... feels like i did nothing... i overdo it... like most of us... a bro split secures that the muscle is fully healed)
- most muscles get passively worked during other days:
-the triceps is always worked hard during any push movement
- the lats during bench
- rear delts while rowing
- upper chest during overhead press
just to name a few examples

I do bro split with still pretty low volume with max intensity and its amazing. Lotta people think they need to have a certain "quota" of sets per week which has them doing like 15-20 sets per week. Highly recommend trying 6-14 sets per week with EXTREME intensity and seeing how it goes

Totally wrong way to train with no results showing after 3 months. I have stuck with this routine my entire life and people always compliment me on my physique
Monday - international chest day
Tuesday - chest and guns
Wednesday - arms and chest
Thursday - rest
Friday - chest and arms
Saturday - heavy arms to look good for the evening

As someone who has trained since the early to mid 90's and started with full body and experimented with near every type of split and variable inbetween over the years.. Bro splits are very underrated in this day and age. Even now for me age 45 it's still the best split for putting on more size. Ill switch between ppl and bro split from time to time depending on lifestyle but bro split is where im putting on the most muscle every time

The amount of volume you do throught the week could be the same but the quality isnt. Doing 20 sets of chest on a single day isnt really the best approach because after doing 10-12 working sets ur chest probably got the best stimulus it can so therefore the amount of work you do after that is likely generating more fatigue then stimulus. But if u split those 20 sets in to 2 days u probably get the best stimulus possible. Be realistic, how hard can you push after doing 10-12 sets of really hard chest work? If you think u can push 20 sets of chest work easily without any issue then that means u arent training hard enough.

Idk why ppl yap a lot about training a muscle twice a week, frequency isn’t the most impactful variable in hypertrophy.
Training to failure, the volume, and you technique are the important factors.

I am so lazy that Push pull legs workout doesn't work for me i end up doing chest 1 hour and leave without hitting shoulder on push day
So bro split is what made for me
Also i can use more variation in bro split but not in PPL
