Been doing a modified bro split for the last 8 months and have seen a ton of progress over a regular 5-6 day bro split. I do chest/tris, back/bis, legs rest and shoulders/abs. When i start cutting though ill probably do an extra leg day for the increased metabolic gains

I’m doing 5 times
Upper x 2
Lower x 2
Shoulder and arms workout (currently my lagging muscles). Once i feel my shoulder and arms are caught upto the rest of my upper body, will be moving to PPLUL split.

I do a 8 day split were I train 3 days, have a rest day, then train 3 days akd a rest day again. I personally think training 6 days straight every week is gonna lead to overtraining. By training this way you also will hit your muscles twice in a span of seven days, so hitting them twice or almost twice per week.

I've been experimenting with splits. 5 days is the best for me have seen the best results with 5 days. And im gonna go back again. I got some decent gains with upper lower (4 days) but with the 5 days
I mixed Push pull and upper lower, my back and shoulders GOT BIG.

I have never liked upper lower, I can see why some people like it, but I like all my exercises to be linked, as they get weaker and weaker throughout the work out . Yes for some it can cause certain muscles to be a weak point so I just rotate exercise order

3 days...PPL...for people 35 yrs+.
Younger peeps should do 4 days with opposite muscles.
Those who want to do 5 days...do the above plus 1 day cardio or endurance.

More than that, is neither required, nor recommended. Your body and mind needs rest!!

I do 5 days and I am a big fan of this:
Leg - Push - Pull - Anterior chain - Posterior chain

The RDL is one of my favorite exercises that's why I have a day dedicated to it - posterior chain.

I'm gonna end up doing 4 days a week in my school gym for a weight training class, a good way to start I guess. It seems like a good intro into how to use a gym properly and how to use the equipment.

I go 5 days a week. 3 upper body days - shoulders, chest/back, arms. 2 lower (leg) days.

How about back/biceps, chest/triceps, legs 3days? It used to be so common and popular

I like bro splits. Shoulder, legs. Back. Chest. Arms. May not be optimal but it's what i enjoy

currently: 6days... upper, lower, abs, push, pull, legs. each muscle group gets 2 days rest. then 30min-60min cardio to finish.
