I payed $2200/yr for a MK5 Golf R32 with Country Wide, switched to Progressive and it's still $1600 for minimum.

Americans should start shopping around for cheaper insurance. I am looking at this list and can't believe these are cheapest to insure? I am paying 75 dollars a month for 2018 CX5 and that was after recent mandatory state increase, before that I used to pay around 60 dollars a month, or 110 a month for 2018 CX5 and 2015 Corolla.

Let me just say, if you do go with a jeep... it WILL break, and you WILL have to pay a fair bit to get it fixed.

How do these cheapest cars to insure compare to the average economy car? Are we talking about $100 in savings per year, or at least $500+?

Actually my 2013 GTR is only $1526 a year to insure at the high levels of coverage I even keep it at or it would be way cheaper! lol Then again we have tons of discounts like multi car/married/home owner etc etc but still, GTRs aren't that expensive to insure per year.

I pay $64 a month at Geico. Whole policy is $348. My car is 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee
