Why didn't Sam bring the Elven bread when he found it? Yeah, it's dirty but it's still food, the only food they had. They could have eaten it while going to Mount Doom and gave them some energy.

I always laughed at Sam seeing the Elven Bread.

Sam finding the bread should've been cut completely. It would've made the scene when he shows up to save Frodo from Shelop more impactful.
