Fires are burning after the city of London hit 104 degrees on Tuesday, repressing a new temperature record for the United Kingdom. More than a thousand people are dead from extreme heat, and 40,000 in France have fled wildfires. Meteorologist Matthew Cappucci with an update.

Look up the National Weather Service report about July 1936, during the dust bowl the midwest reached temps over 110 and greater in some parts....

After watching this video, I checked Britain's temps and for example you showed Heathrow at 40.9C but it actually had a high of around 27C... what's up with that Matt Capucci?
