7 Settings New Pilots Should Turn On - DJI Mini 2

If you want to get the most out of your DJI Mini 2, there's a few settings in the DJI Fly App that I recommend new pilots look at using. By default, a lot of these settings are switched off. Most important lesson learned in this video was turning on those gridlines.
I did turn on 1 of them but, I’m going to turn on all 3 so, that I can set up my shot a lot better and know exactly where my drone is flying.

in images ~ turning on the 4:3 also gives you the full sensor ~ they can be cropped however you want in post

I really liked the center point tip for fly throughs! You probably should mention that you'll want your gimbal at 0 deg. to use this.

Thanks for the tips Aldrin, very helpful as always. I noticed the phone charging function only provides 0.5A which is half the standard charge rate from iPhone OEM chargers that typically come with iPhones. Just thought I would point that out. It certainly helps reduce the drain on the phones battery which is helpful. I still have to do some testing to see if "the phone charging" feature maintains my phone battery level or simply allows it to drain slower. I have found that it certainly doesn't put enough charge into the phone to increase the battery level when phone charging is enabled. That's how it is for my phone anyway. Again, thanks for the tip. Most if not all of these tips apply to the Mavic Air 2 as well.

Tip 8: In the same way you need to go back and select 4K Quickshots once in the Quickshots mode, you also need to select Panorama then go back to camera settings and reselect JPEG & RAW. Otherwise, you don't get the individual DNGs from the Panorama that you can stitch in Lightroom. At the moment, there is a bug with these panorama DNGs but it should be fixed soon. I hope. EDIT: DJI support have confirmed to me that they have worked out what the issue is and that it will be fixed in an upcoming firmware.

Great information. I use the same setup for my Mavic Air 2 as well. It's because of folks like Aldryn and what he does with flytpath that makes things way easier for new pilots. Keep up the great work Aldryn!!
