Bravo! Zennie62! You said what ALOT of us feel... I remember seeing alot of JH films growing up in the 80's (jumping from one movie room theatre to another just to see the same movie over and over again).
And when I heard of his passing I was VERY sad like most... Thank you for your tribute.

John Hughes was, quite simply, a screenwriter and director of immmense perception, humor, and grace. He left us with so many memorable scenes and quotes in many different films...I was very saddened by his sudden death. Enjoy all his work, and remember who's responsible for bringing it to you, forever.

Actually it's Jennifer Grey, but the sentiment is still appreciated.

zennie62 the guy was a racist! A parade in downtown Chicago with no black people? Oh, I'm sorry the only black people in that scene was doing the electric slide! Also how can we forgot about Home Alone. You remember that movie where if you blink you might see someone non-white.
