3 is by no means bad but what's made by the original minds is a solid story. NV, flipped the script from coming from a vault to being the Armageddon who decides the fate of the west.

While to some degree this list is reflective of the quality of these games is also reflective of the idea that people want something more approachable cuz the idea of Fallout 4 being above the first two games yet 76 because of its trainwreck release still being below the first two games pretty much says it all about your average Fallout player

They should make a third game and make it single player again. But this time they should make better quests and make more rooms, make it more immersive

I think people just love to hate Fallout 4. It’s really not bad at all. Yeah it has its moments. But everyone puts them nostalgia goggles on and forgets that every Fallout game has had these moments. But in the haze of nostalgia we see our childhood favorites as these great gleaming things. But if they were honest with themselves they’d have to admit it was more than just the game that made those great for us. We were kids filled with wonder and curiosity and that’s what made it great. And now as adults we assume games should still be making us feel that way… but it’ll never be the same. The truth is, the best is objective. And your objectivity is based on the gold that was your childhood.

There’s a mod for fallout 4 VR that makes it better It makes it more like that you’re playing as a person then as a ghost.
