The simplest succesful solution:
BREATH!!
Deep breath, BOTH chest sides deep inflated!
Hold for 3 seconds, repeat 5 times.
Same principle when working out.

Not really universally true. Scoliosis can cause asymmetrical shoulders aswell and you can't fix those with exercises because your spine is not straight. You can prevent neck pain or other injuries resulting from this at best.
