What exactly does the concentric portion even help with aside from probably strength? From what it sounds like the eccentric portion tears your muscles a bit and this drives the body to rebuild them bigger and stronger, so shouldnt we in theory just do eccentrics with cheat concentrics to maximize size? This is just the theory in my mind which this seems to also kinda back, also btw whats the song playing

I say just go lift weights, you’re either gonna excel or not it’s not rocket science. If you have good genetics you’ll grow from just about anything, if you don’t have good genetics then sorry pal
