I'm a Nursing Student learning about seizures this week and I was curious as to what it looks like in reality. So it's just merely educational for me as well as curiosity. Thank you for sharing this for all of us going into the medical field. It really does help to put into perspective of what it's really like and what the person goes through. She is so brave. Thank you to her for sharing and educating us about her condition.

I am an archaeologist and these seizures have been described in texts for thousands of years. I wanted to make sure my understanding was accurate. Thank you very much for sharing this.

Medical student here wanting to know the deference between these types of seizures and myoclonic jerks 👌 particularly based on what the movements look like rather than in theory. Thank you for the video and thank you to our brave little patient for teaching us about her condition.

Writing a thesis on demonic possession in children. Arguing that it is not real and that what was once believed to be signs of demonic possession were actually epileptic seizures/psychosis. Thank you so much for sharing such sensitive information. This is very helpful for me. My heart goes out to your beautiful girl.

Currently learning about seizure disorders and different types of seizures for my second year in medical school. Its also important for people to see examples of these seizures so they can quickly recognize them then get medical help as soon as possible. Thank you for sharing this!

Physician Assistant student here, and wanted to see a clinical presentation of a tonic-clonic seizure, as I'm currently learning neurology and covering seizures. It was wonderful to see how much of a calming presence you are in the video. Thank you for sharing -- it is immensely helpful.

I commented because you shared your life and asked why we watched. I watched because I had a tonic clonic and my boyfriend witnessed it and said this video was most like what I was like during my near minute-long seizure.

Thanks for sharing and letting me see a window into something I’d otherwise have no idea what would be like other than just a verbal description which is nothing like seeing the actual, though heart-breaking, thing.

Thank you, again. ❤ and to your sweet daughter.

I just graduated with my BSN and I'm currently studying for the NCLEX. Sometimes I like to find videos over the conditions I'm going over because I'm a visual learner. I never saw a tonic-clonic seizure in clinical and the special mannequins we use in the SIM lab do not reflect what a seizure looks like in real life. Thank you for sharing :)

I am an instructor for the police academy in Central California and I am looking for videos for the cadets to view so they know what a seizure looks like. I want them to be educated so they can assist when called to respond to a person experiencing a seizure. Prayers to you and your family. Thank you for providing this.

I'm studying child neuropsychology and writing a memoire about childhood absence epilepsy (CAE). I thought I couldn't do it without having seen what a seizure can look like, nor was it okay for me to witness this in the real life for the first time. I think it'll help me being prepared because it can be hard for a layman to see. Thanks for sharing <3
