I'm a med student studying seizures and have been looking around at videos of seizures for about an hour now. Thank you so much for sharing this and allowing people like me to be best prepared when encountering this in practice. You are a strong person, god bless and I wish you the very best.

I was recently diagnosed with Epilepsy. My husband has PTSD from watching me have this type of seizure. I wondered what they looked like after my students watched me have one (I was a teacher, but unfortunately not able to work right now). Thank you for sharing.

I'm a 12 year old with epilepsy and had my first seizure at 5 and was diagnosed at just 10 years old, I know how it feels to have a bad seizure, I was put in hospital once because of how bad it was... its a rare type of epilepsy called sunflower syndrome. I hope you feel okay and well and happy. just know that you're not the only one ♡

I’ve been wondering what my seizures look like because my husband has a horrible reaction when I mention them and he hugs me. Being 32, relatively strong for my size, sharp nails, has a tendency to pull my hair and already has other health problems. I don’t blame him.
He was there for my first two and has had to watch me have almost constant absence seizures for at least 2 years. They’ve gotten better since I started my new medication 2 years ago. Since then my absence seizures and tonic clonic ones have become better. I still have em. But not as much. Thanks for putting this up. Now I know a little more on how to comfort my husband after I have recovered.
God bless you, and everyone else here. Whether you are here for yourself or a loved one. I hope things get better.

I had three seizures due to alcohol withdrawal. When seizure was coming, everytime I saw three squares in the middle of field of view in my right eye. Blue, green and red, flickering with random pictures. Everytime I felt anxious, unsteady, very close to panic attack and that colors squares. Everytime I bit my tounge and hit my head. I'm very ashamed of that and never told anyone. I've stopped drinking. Always wanted to see how tonic clonic epilepsy seizure looks like. Thank You for showing me that.

Oh goodness so sorry. I admire your bravery showing this for others. Epilepsy sucks I've had my share of seizures over the years but very lucky they are controlled

Thank you for the courage to post this. Annalise’s are not the exact same as each person is different. But a lot of the characteristics are still alike.

I had one of these due to my antidepressents. My mother and I were walking around my new school and I said I don't feel good, so we headed out. I remember my head going what seemed in a circle over, and over. I woke up to the EMTS saying I had a 6 minute long seizure, I passed out again and woke up to my mom and I was trying to talk to her, I felt like a toddler who could not speak any word, or even move my tongue. My mother said I was on the school floor and she was screaming for me, a mother pulled her back and helped her calm down while she called 9-11. I was told it was a very very low chance of it happening. I'm glad you're okay.

Thank you so much for posting your experience. My wife had a seizure last night and I realized that it is now time to teach our 10 year old how to handle the situation in the case that he is home with her and nobody else is around. Your video will be the model that we use to show him what to expect so that he doesn't freeze in the case he needs to act. We really appreciate you.
