Tip for everyone! around 4:00 when he is talking about the auto iso you can actually set it to only go within the range of your choice. Its actually a high IQ move to use it and save a lot of your time in shoots. I say set it 100 to 1200 sometimes 1600 depends on situation. If lower light inside and don't want flash effect or have it then you can adjust your high end max on the auto to be around 3200. Its great setting actually does decent job if you narrow its range down yourself. Though quite obviously if you can adjust your own settings from aperture, iso, wb and shutter speed you are gonna be better off

Thanks for the great video. I would add that when using shutter priority mode for sports or wildlife, auto ISO is pretty effective. This sensor has pretty low noise, and with modern noise reduction software using auto ISO opens more shooting opportunities.

Flat profile is essentially is less contrasts, less saturation and less sharpening. If you are doing post production work then shoot flat or what u did too also works. Flat is not bad unless you know what to do

JUST GOT MINE TODAY!!! Best Buy had A KILLER DEAL! It was $899 for BUNDLE, it came with Two Lens Kit with 18-55mm and 70-300mm Lenses & a bag. I would Really SUGGEST GETTING Tripod made by XC-M Tripod (Model XC-M 525) It's very well built and great looking.!

Thanx for this great review. I was dubbing to upgrade from my D5100 to the D7200 or the D7500.
After seeing this and a few other comparison reviews, I went for the D7500 and after receiving it, I watched your review again with the camera in my hand.
Great settings, great info and despite of only one card slot and no battery pack, I’m really, really satisfied with my D7500.

I want to start filming for a YouTube channel for myself. I have some good ideas. I recently got my D7500 because I like photography. The fact that it takes video is a bonus.
You mentioned to choose MOV for cinematic and MP4 for basic low quality posting to Facebook.
What would I choose to be a YouTuber?
