Great tips. I've been using my D750 for two years and didn't know most of these settings you describe. I see lots of articles and videos about "secrets" and "tricks, " but rarely do they surprise me. You, on the other hand, really taught me something.

For the D5200 users out there:
1) Not available for this model,

2) Not available for this model, but after hitting play button and some zoom, one can press i button and use < and > buttons to loop through to detected faces positions and check focus

3) Mine already skip thru photos using command dial by default

4) Not available for this model, but one can assign this function to "my menu" to speed it up a little

5) Not available for this model. I wish I could use the built in flash button for that.

6) Not available for this model, but the Fn button can be used for ISO ( very handy)

7) Not available for this model, but one can use Center/Ok button to center the single focus point
