Both inventions of proud men called Arminianism and Calvinism are wrong; because neither one is fully supported by the whole of scripture.
There are many scriptures that go against Arminianism, and there are many scriptures that go against Calvinism. So neither one is Biblical.

I grew up going to church, but it was very legalistic. They didn't teach a clear salvation message. I got saved about 4 years ago when I was going to a Bible study and only after I got saved did I ever hear about Calvinism or Arminianism. And as I studied a bit of both I realized that I was neither of those in my beliefs.
I believe in what the scriptures say.
John 3:16 is clear that Jesus died for me and I'm so grateful that he did.

But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

Calvinism is an unbiblical theory used by people to try to explain why some people do not choose Christ. Jesus, Himself, did not teach Calvinism. In His parable of the sower, the sower send out to seed to all the land, and it was up to the land to either being forth fruit or not. Now, can the land bring forth fruit without sunshine or rain? No. These are dependent upon God. So then everyone who chooses to believe chooses with their own free will. But it is the power of God that enable that individual to change. We have no power over our own selves but the power of choice. We are fully dependent upon God for all that happens to us after that choice. But if God chooses who will be saved, then God's Word is not true. For God is not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. If God decides who will be saved, and He wills that all be saved, then no one would go to hell. But hell enlarges itself daily because of the sins of men, and all nations that forget God shall be turned into hell. A simple examination of the Word of God clearly indicates that Calvinism is a lie taught by those who cannot fathom that there are people in this world who would rather go to hell on their own terms than go to heaven on God's terms, but that is exactly how it is. We cannot change the Gospel to align with our feelings. We must only go by what the Word says. Calvinism is a lie from hell used by Satan to deceive people into thinking that they are okay with God, and many who believe that lie will be damned. Stop listening to Calvinists and just read the Word of God. It is so obvious a child can see it. And every time they say something that sound good, say, "That's great, but show it to me in the Word." They cannot, because it is man's wisdom and not God's Word. If they have to break it down to explain it, there's something wrong. The Truth is simple for all to see.

Acts 17:30 KJV "And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:"

2 Peter 3:9 KJV "The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance."

Revelation 3:20 KJV "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me."

Stop being a Calvinist. And, in fact, stop being an Armenian. Just be a Biblical Christian and live by the Word. We don't need another new interpretation of the Bible. We need believers to be led by the Spirit of Truth and live the Word. God does not pick and choose who will be saved. He calls all men, and we all need to get busy answering that call and carrying the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the lost. If we did that, we wouldn't have time to debate this ridiculous false doctrine because we'd be too busy baptizing and training new disciples. GET BACK TO THE WORD AND AWAY FROM THIS GARBAGE!

But, in case I haven't made my point, one more thing. Calvinism IS mentioned in the Bible.

Proverbs 14:12 KJV "There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death."

Come out and cut to the chase consistent Calvinism teaches God doesn't love everyone and you hope you're chosen. Now you don't have to read a bunch of books that talk in circles and use $10 dollar words.

Of course calvinism will say that we have a will. But the will we have can only will what was preprogrammed... just like a robot. Calvinists double speak.
