This was one of the best moments in Jamie’s character development. Suddenly he’s not just a villain but because of his time with Brienne he is a multifaceted character with the desire to do good and redeem himself.

In retrospect. If Cersi ever knew or even found Jamie did this, I think she'd order the mountain to kill him in that later meeting.

I really like *this* Jamie Lannister. I don't know what GRRM does with his character in his books, but I absolutely hate what the showrunners did with him in this show.
