You can rank up to immortal with the basic tips I provide in this video. The majority of times there may be an issue with how often players are able to play, mechanical fundamentals, and thought process under stressful pressure. I wanted to talk about some advanced stuff such as when to know how to strafe shoot that that will have to wait till another video. Improving in valorant is quite easy, i played the game seriously in episode 4 act 2 (june 2022) and i was plat at that time and my friends were also like gold and plat but now when i opened the game last week, they are ascendant and immortals now XD
i played with them and after like 4-5 games i was able to throw some good shots like them, so it's totally up to you how you take this game if you have the will to learn new things you're gonna rank up in no time, and i'm D2 rn by just playing game for like 10 days after 9 months, so i would say dont solo queue have atleast 1 player with you to communicate and rank up :-)

When u described counter strafing, it sounded like you were describing the on shot deadzone, not an actual counter strafe.
