I'm Tired of Ugly Futuristic Car Designs...Ohhhh, look how futuristic this is, I tried less, deleted a lot of features, then locked it behind a paywall. Yeah so futuristic. Kiss my effing butt. The Future of Cars…is to go back. Whether it’s Neo-Classic Motorcycles, Remastered Video Games, or Retro Styling, the market has shown time and time again, some of the best appealing products, have already existed and simply need an update in hardware, polish, and repackaged in a manner where the new generation can appreciate it.
Make cars still look like cars. I’m sick of this trend to make the dumbest looking oversized kitchen appliance. You know things are bad when Hyundai of all companies, has got it going. I hate that if you lower an Ioniq, it actually looks pretty cool and if they made a smaller hatchback version, it’d sell like hotcakes. The N-Vision is stunning, passionate, and brings some soul, even if masquerading, like I said. Whisk me away, ease me into the upcoming pain. If we’re going electric, delude me. Delude the already schizophrenic me, more than my abilify can drown, while dopamine can still arrive.

I ain't posting the full script cuz some journalist MF might just copy paste it into their article, knowing full well they ain't got schizo and abilify. Ayo now go listen to Rise Against Injection and hit me with some deep nostalgia straight through my veins.

Y'all might be the last generation alive, to truly understand the drive...
I made this video cause I was bored tbh. I'm pretty sure at least 10% of the braindead balmungs who come across it, may think I'm hating Electric or supporting gas and miss the message entirely. Which is to stop making Electric cars so dang ugly. I'll buy them when they look better.

I love the designs of the 1960s because they just let the designers go wild with intricate and unique designs. Now the designers are told to remove as many details as possible and pass it off by saying “but it’s futuristic”.

The funny thing about anything trying to look "futuristic" is that in a mere 10 or 20 years, it'll just look even more dated than something that was just designed to reflect the current time.

EVs: *brings more freedom and potential for amazing and perhaps crazy designs*

Car designers: Best we can do is egg

The absolute worst part of EVs is that they won't let me make it sound like a TIE fighter, which I believe should be mandated by law

You know that when Kia and Hyundai are somehow the ones doing it right, the entire car industry is going to hell

I’ve been saying this for a looonng time. Way back since we started seeing this “futuristic” trash in movies that we’re trying to depict “the future”. Unfortunately there are politics behind this. They absolutely want to destroy the notion of a Car. They eventually want us all in an egg shaped “conveyance” that we don’t own and call like an Uber.

I’d be interested to see styles from the 50’s and 60’s make a comeback, big land boats that are actually interesting to look at

Finally someone speaks out about this. Oversimplified/minimalist or whatever they call it now designs are absolutely awful in my opinion. At least the way they are implemented right now in the car industry and beyond as well

I want retro car aesthetics to come back. I want a hybrid that looks like it came from the 50s. I legit despise these oversized flat-faced/hyper-smoothed hunks of metal that are just one welded mass that only come in white or black.

Its not only the exterior but the interior aswell. Just one Ipad in the middle and thats it. Like they didnt even put any effort into anything

Let's hope our reality turns out like Speed Racer where we invent some sort of Sci fi fuel cells and design all cars to be like Modernized 60's Retro aesthetic

When you said Oversized Kitchen Appliances, You're damn right. Some of these vehicles literally looks like a stainless steel refrigerator and a bread toaster on wheels

I have to agree with this statement these over futuristic cars do nothing but lie most of the time

Another infuriating thing is making EV's for the purpose of "saving the enviorment because they are more energy-efficient" and then stuffing them full of "features" that drain the battery.

Hyundai and Dodge really have made something new with a retro twist. I really love how well they had announce their flagship EVs. I really don’t understand why other manufacturers can’t seem to find a way to make a eye-catching EV concept.

Thank you, I’ve had these thoughts and discussed it with my Dad. It would so much easier to transition to renewable or alternative fuel sources if the cars didn’t look like a toasters
