I’ve been to Harrison lake before, it’s absolutely beautiful. It is surrounded by mountains and wilderness and has enormous glacial peaks up to 8000 ft above the
lake. The lake is huge and is like an ocean. There is a town at the southern end of the lake called Harrison hot springs, it’s a tourist attraction with hot springs and an amazing resort. It would be sad if a mega tsunami destroyed it.

What about the fault that's goes up the west coast of the US, that would bring a tsunami all the way from California to Vancouver Island in Canada

In 2015 there was a 600 foot tall mega tsunami in Alaska. The scientists who went to study it made a short little video on it I just happened to come across it the other day.

I saw that movie, The Wave. It was basically exactly as depicted in this video. It was alright, if you don’t mind subtitles. Worth the 100 mins if you’re just surfing for something to watch.

None of the Hawaiian Islands are "waiting to pop". Kilauea is the longest lasting eruption we have on record and is still going to this very second as I'm writing this. The only active volcanoes are on the big island because that's the one over the hotspot right now because if you paid attention in high school Hawaii is a hotspot chain and the others have moved off of it

What if a massive Tsunami wave hit the west face of the volcano causing a landslide that causes a 2nd Massive Tsunami going in the opposite direction to the one that hit it?

If it happens, the Cumbre Vieja landslide would make the landslide of Mount Saint Helens look like a kicked over anthill by comparison. I saw the movie "The Wave", it was a very interesting video, but what about the Cascadia Fault Line? I know it's not a landslide which causes a tsunami, but it has caused tsunamis in the past, off of the coast of Washington state, it's worth discussing!

Very informative, I live in New Zealand and am aware that we could be wiped out as we are 2 small islands in the Pacific. We have many active volcano's, earthquakes and a super volcano (Lake Taupo) and being in in the ring of fire does not help. I am okay about it and if it happens, it happens as I have faith in God
