Saw the Cumbre Vieja volcano on here and thought, "That looks like a cool island", so I looked it up and the volcano is literally erupting today.

Reminder: don't stay up all night worrying about things beyond your control. Instead, if you live in a place with a potential for an extreme disaster, do you best to have food, water, first aid and shelter to last you a few days or longer. It's post-disaster that might be harder to survive if you aren't ready for the immediate aftermath.
Or, do like me and move from the subduction zone threat of Washington to the very slow megadrought of Arizona. Slow motion disaster, baby!

An earthquake off Washington State could not flood the cities you stated. The landmass a few miles inland is too high. There are hills and mountains in the way. You also did not mention the most destructive event that will happen if the caldera under Yellowstone Park explodes. That event would be 10 times the disaster then any one you mentioned.

I live in Australia. We had a very wet winter. We have ALOT of vegetation now. I am dreading summer. Bushfires are going to be bad this year. These scenarios are the least of our concerns.

i noticed the supervolcano caldera underneath Yellowstone national park was left out of this list. It has been showing life and a slow gradual lifting of land for many years now. not simply a maybe or if to it's activity.

I just looove how this film describes how dangerous Cumbre Vieja can be for the Eastern states, without any regard to the whole other world. What about Morocco, what about Spain, Brazil, Guyana and a good dozen of other countries? Are there no people living there or are they not worth mention?

Fun fact: relative of mine owes his life to tremors being a risk in Turkey. The bank he was in during a car bomb attack in Istanbul (he was a financial consultant) was built to withstand earthquakes. The big office window did not shatter from the force of the explosion and he was not ripped to shreds by flying glass.

Thank you for the reviews of risk due to volcanos and earthquakes. I believe you ignored one area that when this quake occurs it will produce great devastation in the central US due to property damage lose of infrastructure and life. Please produce a video on the potential New Madrid fault zone.
