Actually, right before a tsunami, the water will recede much farther away from the beach than the normal edge. Once you see that, then yeah, run.Or you can be in those bubble balls everyone likes with a scuba tank and plug the hole. Let the wave come and go as you raise with the wave crashing into everything and hopefully coming out alive or you got the scuba tank to keep your oxygen levels as you try to survive the wave
