The Earth will have a close encounter Wednesday with a massive asteroid nicknamed "The Rock." NASA first learned about it three years ago, and it is the largest to pass by Earth since 2004. CBS News science and futurist contributor Michio Kaku joins "CBS This Morning" to discuss how the asteroid will not affect Earth, although it does show the dangers of nearby objects.

It's funny you can tell he was really irritated because they were not taking him as serious as he would have liked. He looked pissed. Oh well.

I feel so sorry for Michio Kaku. Here he comes onto CBS This Morning to talk about a serious subject just to be laughed at by Moe, Larry and Curly. "CBS News Flash: Scientists discover very large meteor on collision coarse with Earth! Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha BahHahaha!" CBS This Morning, only qualification needed is to be able to read a teleprompter.

Truly evidence that human arrogance and stupidity rules the world. Professor should never agree to be on this show.

Trump likes this idea....when one hits, he can blame some random "enemy" of using nukes, and "strike back"....

I used to be a Kaku fan. Be he's just a talking Head now. Keeps repeating the same old stories and doesn't do any research anymore. His main field is speculation now.
