7/2013-Moorefield, WV:
Myself as well as all of the other campers (most not shown in this video due to camp team separation), operating the SBVR (South Branch Valley Railroad's GP38-3 #100. This was part of the WVOL (West Virginia Operating Lifesaver)'s RailCamp 2013 Program. Campers were permitted to operate a locomotive for approximately 1/4 mile in the SBVR Moorefield Yard under supervision and instruction of a RR employee. Running the #100 was an added bonus, as this camp activity is usually performed with SBVR #80, a GE 65 tonner switcher. SBVR 100 was sporting a sweet Nathan P5 horn on this day, as you'll hear. Enjoy as we climb aboard and hop in the engineer's seat for some time at the throttle! Big thanks to WVOL and the SBVR!

100 used to operate on a shortline near where I live in the 90s. Glad she was saved from the torch

Cool! I operated a KATO JRN locomotive on a N scale layout (not mine) And shorted out the system.
