Check out my social media!!!!!

Here is a new video from the first video i did and had a really annoying music i learned from my mistakes and recreated this new video more detailed and without annoying music. thank you for watching.

Here is the manual step to reset the idle manually:

Perform the following relearn procedure for the on-board computer to adjust to the new idle position on the electronic throttle body.

1) Start and run the engine in PARK for 3 minutes.
2) Turn the engine OFF for a minimum of 60 seconds.
3) Start the engine and run for another 3 minutes.
4) Engine should idle normally after 3 minutes.

After having performed the relearn procedure and the engine still does not run within normal idle speed, it will be necessary to drive the vehicle above 45 mph (70 Km/h) including several decelerations.

Also ensure that after driving the vehicle, let the engine idle for a minimum of 5 minutes. If the engine has returned to normal idle speed, the relearn procedure is completed. If the idle speed is still erratic or incorrect, restart idle relearn procedure.

I think it would be helpful if you could show us how to do a "Relearn" without the $2, 000 computer because most American's have families and can't throw away that kind of money for a scanner. Just a suggestion though.

Big Frontline612 stopN thru Minnesota bound 💯 I have a 2008 Trailblazer and it's ideally high after I have changed all the codes...

For those that don't have a scanner. Disconnect the neg cable on battery and touch it to the positive side of battery for ten minutes. It will drain capacity in the PCM and clear memory.
The engine will relearn.

After you cleaned and reset it, it did stop idling so high but you can see that even under 1000 the rpm’s are still fluxuating a little

This is a very useful video for SOMEONE WITH A $2000 DIAGNOSTIC DEVICE.
for the rest of us, it's as useless as watching a monkey picking his butt.

I cleaned it and cleaned the MAF, it’s not idling high but whenever I press the accelerator in park it stays at that rpm and won’t go down unless I turn off the truck, is this something I need to do idle re learn or is that another issue ?

What about a code for a p0443 on a Grand Prix gxp with 5.3 I changed the mass & purge valve. Could it be a bad cat cause it overheats in 30 mins of short driving

Manual relearn short and long did not work or didnt last. I disconnected the battery for 15 minutes and went right back to normal. They also told me that if i had disconnected it before unplugging the T B it wouldn't have messed up.
So many of us are fed up with expensive charges and long waiting times at garages and dealerships. We should elect a youtube diyer for presidenjt and bring the cost of garage charges.

You can take your car to a place and have them relearn the throttle. I found someone in my area only charged $50. It took 5 mins. Call around to every mechanic and just ask.

I recently installed a brand-new throttle body on my 2011 chevy Silverado 1500. But it kept throttling between 3rpm and 4 rpm going back and forth. Would a relearn reset using a scanner fix this on the new TBI?
