Thank you very much for this video!! It has definitely saved me from a lot more scrapes and bruises lol. I just got my 150cc scooter and when I would go to take off from the stop position it would take off really fast. The one time I was just trying to turn it around while walking it and I pulled back on the throttle just a tad and the scooter just took off so fast it came right out of my hands

this really helped me. thank you for the info. I just picked up a brand new ruckus and after 20 miles I noticed the throttle had hella play in it. a good 1/8" turn worth. I loosened it with a crescent wrench and then hand tightened to where there is little to no play. I did have a mild sputter / almost cut off from the first initial pull, but after riding for an hour it was fine.
any tips on stock ruckus or what to listen for on engine idle / accel?

Josh, that's scary! Be sure to use both brakes equally when you stop. If the throttle ever sticks again your brakes should out power the engine. Be sure you don't have and throttle binding, for sure.

pull the throttle housing apart and lube the moving parts and check for damage. also power lube the cable. This should solve you're issue you

Hello. I replaced my belt the other day. Now when I kickstart start my moped, the rear tire started accelerating on its own. Does that mean that the throttle is the problem?
