I did a bunch of experiments with my lawn, topdressing overseeding, weeding, verticutting, core aeration, all the types of fertilizers, all mow heights. Etc. Ive startded to look at the lawn like a mini rain forest, if damage is created its hard to repair especially during the dry season. My approach nowadays is to be more gentle. Let the ants and worms handle the aeration.

Those cores are actually good for the lawn. I would use a regular no reel mower on the lowest setting to grind them up but to each their own

The only people who need to keep their grass in this good of condition are keeping the turf at professional sports facilities. Unless you've got elite talent making or breaking names on your grass you can live with it being out of plumb.

Are you able to say what state you live in? Wondering if your soil type is similar to the black heavy clay content soil I have in Minnesota

Life is much easier if you just cut it and forget about it….i have 10 acres of lawn around my house…it’s lucky if it’s all cut at once…

Did u know that when you aerate it lawn it’s best to keep the plugs on top and they eventually brake down into nutrients but hey u do u 😊
