Watching steam engines is better than watching bullet trains.

Splendid. So skillfully executed. I had no idea there was this much steam still in operation in the UK.

Love seeing them at speed. Much nicer to see them out doing what they were designed to do rather then stuck in a museum.

They still have that sense of pride like they’re saying, “IM COMING THROUGH, OUT OF MY WAY!”

14:30 is a really nice one, seeing the smoke and a silhouette in the distant fog, and then you see the steam engine rush by. I love it.

45 minutes of pure pleasure and impressed by locations where filmed. Only downside, two grandsons on my knees shouting with excitement, but to see their little faces shining with excitement is something else. I believe you have just won another 3 fans for you website. Many thanks

Of course steam trains have to be fast. You need to outrun the Dementors

They may not be as powerful as diesels or electrics but jesus they are beautiful !!!

This is one of the reasons I want to visit the UK so badly. Looks as if steam trains aren’t nearly as rare of a sight over there than they are here in the US. The shots of them blasting across the countryside, without a diesel helper engine, make me smile.

A big thanks to the people that have restored and keep running these magnificent locos running! without them they would only be history.

Knowing how much one of those side rods weighs, and seeing it get slung around that fast is a terrifying thought!!!

Awesome footage, well shot and a lot of hard work chasing trains going that fast ...

The one thing Britain is very good at is railroad heritage, actually I hope they would be very good at it, they invented the steam locomotive after all lol

It's not only that you are a great photographer: you clearly are a very generous person who lends us your time and your eyes to get the perfect angle so that WE can enjoy the perfect images. You have captured fleeting moments in England and I've been living through them this Sunday afternoon in Brasília, Brazil, and feeling overwhelmed by joy and gratitude. All the
