Edit 3: TL:DR
David is the fastest Cyberpunk character with his military grade sandevistan, he also has 2076 implants, Johnny doesn't have anything that holds up (2023 implants) nor has any feats that he'd win in a 1 v 1. He's got more experience, a higher Battle IQ and a good team. But it's a 1v1. All David has to do is rip of his Silverhand and Johnny can't do much. For reason of the stats, look at the last few comments.

Edit 2: (Read) A lot of people seem to be triggered by the outcome. Firstly, this is my opinion based on research, I strongly believe David Martinez would win against Johnny (2023) David has a military grade sandevistan, not even V has the same speed as David. Edit 1 (Rendering and editing error occurred so Cool (Stat) is shown twice, the first one was supposed to be strength.

Johnny fought and lost to Adam Smasher in 2023, when he wasn’t fully cyborged out. David lost to a fully cyborged Smasher so the comparison is not the same. Secondly, Johnny shows no feats he would win against David in a 1v1. All David has to do is rip off Johnny’s arms (Silverhand) and the fight is over, since Johnny cannot use his Malorian with his normal arm, as the kick back is too intense and he's left handed (His Silver arm)

Even then there are multiple possibilities Johnny could die. David has a projectile launcher, and a shit ton of implants to win. A lot of you are triggered based on your bias and emotion and aren’t looking at the feats provided by both characters. And before people call me a David fanboy, Johnny is literally my favourite character. He’s in the outro of my videos, I made a lore video specifically for him, and even then I’m not gonna dick ride him because I’m being analytical rather than bias.

Johnny is from a different time, 2023 technology is not on par with 2076 or 2077 technology. David has far superior feats and chrome. Such as his military grade sandivistan, synlungs, projectile launch system, cyber legs, dermal implants, fortified ankles and gorilla arms. David also has a one in a million, high tolerance for cyberware and high humanity hence why it took so long for him to succumb to cyberpsychosis.

For Johnny (2023) he only has a few implants such as his chromed left cyber arm, and maybe cyber optics. And he primarily uses one 1 weapon, his custom made Malorian. Johnny doesn’t show any feats that he would best David in a 1v1 unless we’d compete TTRPG Johnny with David who most likely would have a better chance, it's still hard to say if Johnny TTRPG would win, but he does have a sandivistan as well. Johnny of course has more experience than David because he was in the NUSA War

Body (Strength) self explanation, David is bigger, more chromed out.

Reflexes: David has a military grade sandvesitan, Johnny doesn’t. Johnny might be a fast gun slinger in the long term, but all it takes is a second or less for David to end the fight.

Intelligence: David was at the top of his class in Arasaka Academy so he isn’t an idiot. He’s just naive and lacks experience.

Johnny might have a higher battle IQ, but his emotions get the bette of him and make him act impulsively we’ve seen this many times.

Cool (Stealth) again David is very fast, which means he can be very stealthy, he also has his leg implants which can be modified to muffle his foot steps.

Weapons self explanatory,

Storyline:

David has much more of a storyline that is deemed as accurate. Silverhand's storyline isn't 100% true because Mike Pondsmith said 'Due to the amount of time Johnny spent in Mikoshi, his memories were altered, so they're not 100% accurate from the viewers eyes, and more along the lines of What Johnny think's happeed.'

But if I were to re-do the video I'd put intelligence at tie or give a point each for battle IQ and Intelligence.

and include that Johnny blew up Arasaka tower which is an impressive feat in itself.

It would be 8-5 at that point.

if i remember correctly Johnny was said to have a kerenzikov, a sandevistan, two cyberoptics with IR, Low Lite, Enhancement, Boosted Reflexes all of this said in both the table top games
