I think it’s important to point out that the cyberpsycho at the beginning of Edgerunners is explicitly ex-military and bordering on totally borged. Meanwhile, the examples in this video are, like: “Maelstrom cultist netrunner”, “scrapyard employee”, “guy who was kidnapped and forcibly chipped with bad implants”. They’re not tanks, they’re just crazy.

David with a sandevistan: *nosebleeds at 8 activations*

Every V at 20 activations: "Mm, yes. I must meek hanako at embers."

Hey, some Cyberpsychos in the game are more difficult than Adam's boss fight.

On hard, that one Cyberpsycho that gets up from her ice bath in the cult ritual moves as fast with Sandevistan when fighting her and not even Rebecca's shotgun was able to knock her down.

That shit was terrifying af when I encountered her.

Really hope they get around to buffing fights which are meant to be more climactic in general by the time the dlc comes out. Smasher, the world champion boxer, cyberpsychos, ect. Oda was a cool fight though.

i mean, david almost 100-0 a cyberpsycho with one Handgun shot without silencer/stealth, it's not every cyberpsycho that's filled to the brim with Military cyberware

In all fairness some of them are legitimately tough, especially on Hard mode.

There was one Cyberpsycho who was an army veteran that basically murdered an entire gang on a dock because they killed his daughter (what way I won't say cause its messed up) and he was one tough basterd

Grenades didn't stun him, Rebecca's shotgun didn't knock him down or even effect him and he was taking basically no damage from even the Overwatch sniper rifle, meanwhile he could basically two-shot you.

Legitimately the only thing that did any work was quickhacking. It was freaking SCARY.

Yeah that was my thought too during my first playthrough after Edgerunners.

Cyberpsychos in the anime: One of the biggest threats you can face.
Cyberpsychos in the game: People I beat up with a dildo.

Honestly it depends on levels.

Early level I had fun taking out the Watson Cyberpsychos; were easy and hitting them with a stick while yelling “RESPECT MY AUTHORITAH!” was funny. But some of the others can fuck your shit up easily if you don’t pay attention

Really funny how you set it to the easiest difficulty and went after a cyberpsycho you were vastly out leveled for. That totally translates dude

That's because the player is the Cyberpsycho.

0:03 I like how Dwayne gestures a circle when he uses the Sandevistan to get 'around'. This live The Rock reaction is simply fitting.

Norio Akuhara was probably the most fun cyberpsycho to fight. Combining invisibility, high speed katana slashes, as well as a pistol in the second part of the fight.

This dude really watched Edgerunners and expected 2077 to play exactly like the show.

i can say that maelstrom cyberpsycho was one of my favourites i didn't know cyberpunk could be a horror game as well

I do like the variety in the game to be fair like the one In the opening was a militech colonel with corpo implants in the game they vary from drug addicts to vigilante’s to preppers. That one in the badlands with the exosuit killed me like 8 times

Hardest part of cyberpsycho fights is just keeping them alive lmao

I love how the anime is provoking more criticism towards cyberpunk

The thing is that the anime has someone that is kitted out with military grade tech(and he is a soldier) while in the game it has people that have just overdone themselves with tech (in the lore everyone has a different limit, just as some people can’t use certain cyberware too much or it will mess them up (example: somewhere in the game it talks about over reliance of a certain type of eyes that when the person tries to switch to a different one they go blind, and there are other example within the shard/note thing))
