In this video, we’re going to talk about heart arrhythmias and how they relate to excessive amounts of calcium in your cells.

Arrhythmias are a problem with the rhythm of your heart. This could be a minor palpitation or a major atrial fibrillation—and anything else that involves an irregular heart rhythm.

The most common cause of arrhythmias is excess calcium stuck in your cells—this is why many arrhythmia medications are calcium channel blockers.

Calcium is one of many electrolytes that supports the function of your heart:
• Sodium controls the “spark”
• Calcium controls the “squeeze
• Magnesium controls the “relaxation”

There are many common triggers for heart palpitations:
1. Caffeine
2. Alcohol
3. Sugar
4. Stress (cortisol)
5. Electrolytes (magnesium)
6. Low vitamin D
7. Chocolate
8. Drugs

Each of these will affect calcium physiology—which can cause palpitations.

You can control how much calcium is in your cells with magnesium. Any imbalance of electrolytes can have a short-circuiting effect, which throws off the systems in your body and causes palpitations.

Low magnesium could be a result of insulin resistance or consuming too many foods high in sugar and carbs. It could also be a result of not consuming enough magnesium in your diet. Most magnesium comes from leafy greens.

Other causes of high calcium in the cells are:
• K2 imbalance
• Vitamin D imbalance
• Potassium imbalance

Take a look at your diet and lifestyle habits and see if any of the things I mentioned above could be triggering heart arrhythmia. It may take some trial and error to figure out a solution.

Another BIG cause of Heart Palpitations is exposure to excessive EMF. Stay tuned on a video just on this very important topic.

Sufferers of Atrial Fibrillation should also keep an eye on their Dental Health. I had a root canal treatment that failed and allowed bacteria to invade my jaw! It took 10 months to find the problem and then have Specialist dental treatment to fix the problem. During that period I was having daily attacks of AFIB for up to 5 hours per day! After the tooth was fixed the AFIB events reduced in severity and length, to now when I have not had an AFIB episode for over 6 months. There is some research out there connecting dental bacteria to Heart problems, so it may be worth looking into if you are otherwise healthy but suffer from AFIB.

I was plagued by depression and arrhythmia for decades. When l started suspecting mercury in my dental fillings and had them replaced it all stopped.

I started feeling irregular heart beats two weeks ago through out the day and it bothered me cause it was a very bold irregular heart beat. Watched this video, started drinking vit k2+D3 and Magnesium and within one week it all went away. I dont have high BP, I been on intermitent fasting for about 1 year now, run 3-4 miles daily so I was confused about this sudden irregular heart beats. It turns out I am not getting enough magnesium and vit k2-D3 with my diet. I also started blending kale, celery and tomato and drink that juice twice a day to increase potassium intake. My heart arrhythmia is gone now. Thank you Dr Eric Berg!!!!

Getting my potassium, magnesium, and even increasing my sodium has helped me a lot - but it definitely takes a while.

Dr berg is always on time, i was in the hospital yesterday for arital fibrillation, i cheated off the keto diet and ate ice cream and I believe that's what caused my afib. When I'm eating right I have no problems. Once I eat something unhealthy my afib acts up

Dr.Berg, I think to me the main reason that was causing my heart arrhythmias is the sugar, carbs and high insuline. Once I changed my diet to Keto and reduced dramatically my calories intake, I noticed that this problem was gone completly, and also my problem with headech was gone too.

K2 is a very underrated vitamin. It not only remove excessive calcium, but also prevents osteoporosis, that's two big birds with one stone.

I have suffered atrial fibrillation and flutter having had 2 ablation. I have tachycardia as well. I had open heart surgery for birth defect 43 years ago. TAPVR 2 w/ASD. I was told this is what caused my arrhythmias.

I love the bit where he says Arrythmias can lead to sudden death and there's a photo of a tagged corpse in a morgue. If you have any type of arrhythmia and want to know what's truly going on and how best to manage then stay in YouTube and type the name 'Sanjay Gupta' for all questions on different arrhythmias. A cardiologist from York Hospital in England.

I had it years ago and in my case was high iron. I learned it from a book on natural remedies which came to me by serendipity. I took calcium magnesium pills and the arrhythmia stop in days..amazing. I learned when over 50 you should not eat much iron instead change to magnesium calcium . I ve been eating brewers yeast for years...since young as a supplement..I stop that.

My consumption of a whole strawberry cheesecake yesterday gave me heart palpitations probably from the sugar and the realisation of what I'd just done due to missing a sugar hit since starting keto. Oh well, back on track immediately, starting with exercise and a long fast.
