Mormon Temple First Presidency message preceding endowment ceremony [Recorded on January, 15, 2019]

Recorded in the Mormon temple in South Jordan, Utah on Jan. 15, 2019, this is the First Presidency message that precedes the endowment ceremony after new changes were implemented on Jan. 1, 2019. Like the message from the First Presidency that preceded the endowment ceremony after major changes were made in April, 1990, this message is temporary and will likely only proceed the endowment for a month or two. It will then be removed and never spoken of again by faithful Mormons.

You want to know what goes on at my church? Stop by any day of the week! You can go in ANY room you want, no one will ask you for a membership card, no one cares how much or if you give money and we don't have a dress code! Come as you are, you are welcome. This all just makes me sad. People are just so brainwashed.

I'll never forget the horrible feeling I had when I went to the temple for the first time. The word "CULT!" circled in my mind 1000 times. It's been over 10 years since I left Mormonism, and leaving was one of the best decisions of my life.

If I remember correctly the motions that represented slitting your throat and disemboweling yourself were removed in approximately April of 1990. If you could post an update when you find out exactly what changes have been made that would be a good service to the people who are subscribed to your channel. I have a complete set of the history of the church and Joseph Smith mentions that he rose to the 32nd degree in Freemasonry and talks about what a good day it was, and what an amazing coincidence shortly thereafter the Lord reveal to him the temple rituals and they certainly resembled what he learned in the Masonic Lodge. Truly the Lord works in very strange ways
