The irony is that Hitler's scientists not only created the first known fighter jet but laid the foundation for the space race, nuclear ballistic missiles and the cold war.

Infographics Show getting real comfortable with these world war videos…

Edit: Just so I stop getting hate replies, I said that because of the current Russia/Ukraine conflict. Y’all can’t understand a joke to save your lives-

The sungun was originally developed as a way to provide sunlight to areas during night time, and to break ships out of ice for artic exploration. The Nazis were the ones who wanted it to destroy everything lol

It’s surprising how willing we were to overlook war crimes when these guys had skills we wanted. The real wonder is how some of these guys not only escaped death and prosecution, but got top government clearance (in an enemy nation) and a better paying job than most Americans after the war.

I assure you, the Ally’s were not scared of the Ratte or Maus as neither were fielded, and we didn’t even know about the Ratte until after the war when we found the plans

These plans fell into the same trap as the Spanish Invincible Armada navy. They made the biggest battleships of their time BUT they were so big and so heavily armed that the much smaller and more nimble British ships kinda scadoodled around them and sank every last one.

6:40
Little Mistake there: The Maus was the Pzkw. VIII, not VII, that would have been the Löwe (Lion) which had two design proposals, A heavy one with centered turres and a super heavy one with the turret in the rear.

6:41 Maus was Panzer 8, though there WAS a Panzer 7 tank called “Löwe” or “Lion”. Sadly, the Panzer 7 only existed by it's design on the blueprints.

10 inch armor on a tank? Sounds like an immovable target and magnet for all artillery within 2 miles of it.

Hey Infographics, rockets do not use jet fuel, they use rocket fuel(which could be quite a few different things, but germans liked to use hydrogen peroxide)
