Interested in the New Jerusalem Version (NJV)? Never heard of it? Well to come to the place that has a light-hearted, surface-level review of its binding! This edition is REALLY nice. There is just something about Royal Jongbloed's construction combined with that bone-colored PRIMA Bible paper that makes me swoon. Just be advised... the U.S. retailer only carries the brown imitation edition. If you're looking for one of the others, you'll have to order from overseas. Shipping as really quick though, and reasonably priced (all things considered).

The best Bible out there, is the one you read! May God bless you and your Bible studies!

Love it! I wonder if someone has done a thorough comparison of it to the TLV. The states goals are almost exact; just with different underlying Greek.

Thank you for the video. I just purchased this Bible from the messianic marketplace in the United States. Yep, still can only get the Brown Imitation leather. I'm considering ordering the black leather from the publisher just so I have a second copy in case I wear out my 1st copy. Better yet, then I have one to give away.
I already love this Bible. It is easy to read and the translation is very enjoyable.✝️📖🙏🤍

I love this Bible especially reading the Old Testament.

The seven species refers to Deuteronomy 8:7-8 which lists these seven species of foods that God would give them in Israel. These are symbolic of Israel and its abundance for the Jewish people. It had even greater significance in ancient Biblical times in connection with some of the more agriculturally related holidays.

Just put that translation on my TBR!

I feel like Bibles should be well loved in a respectful way.

Love the translation! As well as the Hebrew order of the TaNaK. I enjoy it more than the ISR since it omits over 100 verses in Psalms and has some odd spellings for names, especially the name of Yeshua.

Protect your identity? You’re telling me that I’ve been watching all this time and your real name isn’t Rusty Bibles?! I’m shocked and appalled! 🤣🤣

A friend of mine is beginning to read the Bible. I'm going to get her this. It'll be her first Bible. I would imagine some people will try to steer her away from this, stating "she will be confused" but I think this is a beautiful to start with. What do you think?

Do you know of a place that I can read the text of this Bible online? I’m curious to know how 1Corinthians, chapter 6 reads.

Great video btw! I couldn’t find many others but I’m so interested in this Bible.

What does "James" 2:2 say in it? does it say meeting or synagogue?

The NJV is an update of the 1901 American Standard Version, not a new translation per se. Noticed an embarrassing fact watching the review: in the list of the seven species, they translated 'תאריכים' (ta'arikhim) as 'dates' instead of 'תמרים' (tmarim), the latter referring to a fruit, while the former denotes days of the month. LOL! It seems like a case of Google Translate gone wrong. Perhaps someone could reach out to the publisher and have a Hebrew speaker review it for accuracy.

If it's Jewish I don't understand why this includes Gospel?
