How to Install a CPU heatsink: Raijintek Tisis

Hey guys, in this video I show you how to install the Rainjintek Themis Evo. This will work with tons of cpu sockets, AMD as well as Intel.

I had the same issue with the fans and the RAM! Initially, I moved my RAM away to try and prevent the Heatsink from touching it, but it turns out that, just like you, it barely fits underneath the Heatsink and not the fan. That aside, I was pretty unsure what those two metal wires were as well as if I needed to use all four of the anti-vibration rubbers, and your video answered those questions. Thanks!

Hey, to avoid the ram issue, you can use 120mm fans instead of the factory 140mm. I have the Tisis core edition on a I7 6850k with 2 Cougar CF-V12HPB Vortex 120mm fans. I don't have super low profile memory. I have 64 gigs of G.SKILL TridentZ Series ddr4 3200 mhz, with no clearance issues with 120mm fans that are quieter than the Raijintek 140mm and move lots more cfm.

This is the black edition, do you know if the finish of the cooler is shinier on the red version? or is it the exact same thing?

you should place the gpu at lower pcie, and maybe trade the 140 fan for a 120 fan, just like noctua did, for having ram clearance! i also want to see how tisis performs with just the middle.fan!

Dumb design, they should have it so the fans can be mounted higher which I was able to do with dark rock pro
