12th gen lga 1700 socket (cpu install)

hey guys so here is a closer look at installing a 12th gen cpu
steps
located tabs and triangle on cpu
press lever and release the first clip
now pull back on second lever
install cpu by holding the cpu on the sides , not top and bottom
place cpu in gently . do not drop it in
then slowly lower the 2nd lever , the cover will pop off now . thats ok
now ensure the first lever clips over the top of the 2nd lever's tab
then just pull the first leevr down and push it under the securing tab
thats it
cpu installed

Ok as I was watching, i swear I noticed the cpu isnt fully seated, and i check the comments and youve pointed it out xD I cringed so hard as you pushed the lever down

I took that plastic cover off, it didn't pop off and scare me.

The land grid array from intel has the pins on the socket and the cpu has the holes

Did you bend any pins?? You can see it hadn’t fell into place yet, then you cranked on the lever and you can hear a pop 😮 Just curious lol

OK GUYS I REALLY WANTED TO POINT THIS OUT .
AT ABOUT 37SECONDS IN, JUST BEFORE I CLAMP DOWN THE CPU ..LOOK AT THE CPU CAREFULLY, IT ISNT 100% SEATED PROPERLY... DO NOT DO THAT, THAT SLIGHT CLICK U HERE WAS THE CPU FORCED INTO PLACE WITH THE LEVER... PLS DO NOT DO THAT
MAKE SURE YOUR CPU IS PROPERLY SEATED BEFORE YOU CLAMP IT DOWN ... U SHOULDNT HEAR ANY KIND OF NOISE APART FROM THE PINS CONNECTING, NO OTHER
I WANTED TO CORRECT THIS SO U ALL UNDERSTAND, IT SHOULD BE SEATED 100% FIRST...pls learn from my mistakes and do not copy them ... that would be really silly..I do apologise for that... I don't want to give misleading information ... so pls correct it

Be very careful guys!!! I thought I was careful when I put my CPU in and I bent like 5 pins and it didnt post.

I had to ship my new mobo off to ASUS to fix it. Luckily it was free.
