5.1 channel surround is an audio mixing standard. All digital cameras such the Sony FS700 and Sony FS100 record in stereo.

SO if you record in Super Slow Motion (ie; 240fps 1920X1080) The camera will record that natively?  wow...No.... Please tell me that the footage can be played back at normal speed and then I or the editor can slow it down to our desired % pace in editing....I have the GoPro Hereo 3+ and it records in 240fps and when played back its normal video. When I go to slwo it down to lets say 10% or 20%  then I reap the benfits of 240 fps... How does this work exactly on the FS 700 ?

Hey great information just a quick question been following your c100 posts.. what you think or can you do a video c100 vs fs100.. I am ready to upgrade to one.. I hear the c100 has better ergomonics and plus NDS but No IR :( But the viewfinder is terrible i heard.

I was disappointed when I heard that this camera records in a 4:2:0 color sampling. a camera with this price should be 4:2:2 at least.
