In this video, I go over in detail the parts and pieces that I use on the Sony NEX-FS100 while shooting on a tripod. If you own a camera such as the Sony NEX-FS700, RED, or Blackmagic Cinema Camera, this video will also apply to you.

Thank you much! I don't have the exact numbers in front of me, but I'd say between $7, 000-$8, 000.

Hi there - so you don't need the baseplate if you don't need rails for the mattebox or follow focus.

How much did this all cost in total, i.e. the camera and all the equipment? Great video by the way.

So the tripod/head that I'm using is the "Manfrotto 502HD Pro Video Head with Flat Base" and "Manfrotto 755XB MDeVe Aluminum Video Tripod Legs". The combo is less than $1, 000 and works great with a camera such as the FS100 all rigged out. If you are looking for a quick and easy head and tripod, this one works fine.

Does every part of this setup work with the FS700?

So pretty much any baseplate will do - the one I show in the video was made for the FS100, so it just looks cleaner.
