Is a Jack Russell the fastest dog?

My neighbour chased his jack russel x papillon in his car. Clocked 60 kilometres per hour! ( that’s 35 mph.)

That’s one thing I love about Jack Russell terriers, they run insanely fast, it’s like someone poured coffee and Diet Coke into their doggy bowl, and 15 seconds later, they go flying off like a firework

When I would through a ball my Jack would take the lead but my lab always got there first. Of course, my jack would always make my lab drop the ball and she would bring it to me. They both got old and passed away last year 8 months apart. It was really tough.

Anyone that lived in San Diego/Mission Bay, California between 1997 to 2010, will remember the Jack Russel that sprinted on the top of a 3 ft. tall boardwalk concrete fence at sundown. The concrete top was only 6 inches wide. This Jack Russel ran at full speed as far as he could go, reach the end, then sprint back (over and over and over). Never once did that fast sprinting dog ever fall.

Jack Russell's are cool dogs, they fear nothing. After having 2 GSP's, Jacks are definitely not the fastest dogs. 😁
