Oh just effing great, just got the shipping notify of my Air 3s coming by DHL from China. My 2 cents: if Skydio made shit that people wanted they wouldn't have to go to such lengths to cripple a competitor that makes stuff people do want.

Hey brother, I taught English in Vietnam for 6 years and just recently came back home to Michigan. I fly drones as a hobby. I brought my Air 3 and my Mini 2 with me on the flight back home. My other 5 drones I had shipped. However, I'm waiting on those because of some customs clearance problem as well. These are drones I already own and have flown over the last 5 years. So yeah, it's not just new imports from DJI, they are stalling every drone from DJI, new or used. I'm very angry because these are drones I own, not drones that I've ordered. Hopefully the Government wont seize (Steal) my property. If they do, I hope to be a part of any class action law suits. Cheers!

As soon as you said DHL, you didn’t need to say anymore. They are horrible. There’s always issues with them.

I ordered a 3s on the 15th. Its been sitting in Cincinnati since the 17th waiting to clear customs. Shipper states they need "full name and address of manufacturing facilty" before able to clear customs and deliver. Ive reached out to DJI to provide info, which they still have not provided. DHL, the shipper, has notified me that if info is not provided by the October 28th, then drone will be returned to DJI.

I ordered mine and I see that the shipping appears to be going smoothly. But I am in Indiana.
Perhaps you can order another one and have it shipped to a different location in the USA. Then have that sent to you.

Think you are probably right about large/Vendor size orders where palet or multi-container orders are in play - THAT is where custome enforcement has LARGE SCALE INFLUENCE ON DJI. Not sure which specific group of DJI shipments got held at customs. My single Air 3S is still promising deliver Monday 10/21 and it's moving, but that could change if they grab and hold more. Got the scoop from Russ at 51 Drones yesterday, but I don't have a solid status yet. This is nuts, and whether it is "Ban Related" or the labor issue, we are getting screwed in multiple ways.

Best Buy still does not have it, not even up on their site. It never happened before with other DJI drones at Best Buy.

I ordered my Neo from DJI on Oct. 8 and it came from China with no issues. Got it on 10/14

Man, this sucks!!! You can stroll into Best Buy Canada and buy a Air 3s and walk out with your drone. I hope our reps feel this crap come election day!!!

Yep, Same Customs B.S. for me as well. I don't blame DHL. This shit is about by Congress telling Customs thru Homeland Security to hold any DJI products that are not already in country.

I'm literally two weeks in this process and absolutely no response from DHL or customs. 😢 I've even provided my social security card (which was so weird)to them and the drone it's still stuck in customs. And no updates in the past 5 days. So odd they're doing this. I have two more buddies with the same issue and no delivery yet. Seems as the time goes by is getting worse.

I had the same problem a year ago when I bought a Mini 4 directly from DJI. As a new drone user I didn' t know that DJI ships directly from China. My drone was held up with Custom problems for almost a month. Customs wanted me to register as an Importer and fill out a bunch of paperwork. The shipper in my case was FedEx and a super nice FedEx lady in Atlanta straightened it out. I would buy an Air 3 today, but I don't want to go through the Customs goat rope again.

I ordered mine on Oct 16th and it was delivered to Georgia (USA) today, Oct 21st via DHL. No issues at all and no indication DHL had any hold-ups though customs.
