A lot of this I find to be very related to all the sizes of schnauzers. I have one and have in the past and I will say, they have huge personalities and that be overwhelming sometimes but the love they give is more rewarding than anything

Very good Video of a good working Dog ! From my childhood on we always have Riesenschnauzer from pure working line! My Father trained and handled Riesenschnauzer always as Police K9 dogs! Today i have a female from working line and i trained with her in IGP, Rescue, Canicross, Bikejöring and much Apportwork! In my Opinion working line and showline are two different Breeds! When the Riesenschnauzer is good socialized then he is good with Children! They are Clowns with much Power and high working abilities, strong, fast and many will to please ! A very good Dog for active People who want to work and train with the Dog not a Dog for Couchpotato and extremly sensitive persons!

I have 2 Giants and they are awesome. They definitely need lots of exercise and they can be stubborn and are the typical velcro dog. Just awesome but not for every home. Not for a first time owner.
