Hey Visudasdas, I’m really struggling right now, I’ve recently started to find my spiritual path, but have had my dog for a long time.
I think you know what’s coming, my dog has been my best friend for a long time and where others saw an untrainable nightmare, I saw a little bundle of spirit.
She’s deaf, and has been since birth, she’s losing her sight and is losing weight, she’s also losing her stability and not as agile as she once was.
I know it’s only a matter of time and am already worried about how hard losing her will be.
My question is, when I do lose her and I’m feeling at my lowest do you have any advice on how to put what she’s given me into perspective and try not to “drop out” as it were and celebrate our friendship instead of feeling that it’s not worth it anymore?
