Wukong is proof to me that these companies do NOT need to be scumbags, milking us with garbage microtransactions. They can make GREAT games, and make PLENTY of money, it just HAS to be a great game.

Just running through NG+ now, end of Chapter 2. I didn't even think about shelving this game yet - I want that Dark Iron Staff and Bull Armor! It's very satisfying being OP and destroying all those Bosses that broke your heart in the first run through. Smashing a Boss with Pluck of Many / Unified Mind never gets old. What an incredible game.

For what I understand, the reason why an expansion seems so close is because the game originaly was going to be 13 chapters long, and a lot of stuff from those missing 7 chapters was already done before they were left out (In some of the trailers you can see stuff that is not in the final game)

I just want to say this for ANYONE who has ever had trouble with the Black Loong fight because I figured this out by accident: If you jump on top of one of the rocks, you can avoid ALL of the shockwaves. You're welcome.

I wish success like this would result in massive bonuses for the dev team. They all deserve a 100k each. If not more. They put their heart and balls into this and it shows. Its the most challenging interactive art-piece I've come across.

Just made it to chapter 4, went back to chapter 3 to fight Yin Tiger (I need that transformation) got his health bar down really low first time fighting him (I was like everyone says he’s difficult, this is lite work) then a cut scene played…turns out I was defeated. I’m going for round 12, 456, 433 tonight when I get off work

I'm in NG+ and have 1.2 Million Will. I literally buy everything that's for sell and still have so much currency that I'll never run out. So awesome that they added the Fine Gold Thread. I'm working on full completion atm.

First DLC around Chinese new year 2025 which is end of Jan is not out of the question, the game originally planned for 13 chapters then eventually got cut down to 6, meaning a lot of the elements have been created rather than having to start from scratch, the exploded popularity and revenue might enable a lot more talents to join game science. And the last thing is, China is fast at building things, there won’t be hours long meeting for DEI discussions either

they already had a lot of content they cut out because of budget and time. so they already have half of the work done, if not more. they just need to finish the other chapters they had to cut out. it was suppose to have 13 chapters as opposed to 6. late January is quite a possibility. also keep in mind these are not american devs who start their day at 10am and can't start working without their venti latte triple caramel soy milk coffee and clock out at 5pm. maybe people haven't noticed, but chinese people work hard, and if there's profit involved, they'll work twice as hard
