Also worth noting if you are REALLY struggling with the game & just want to start progressing there is an option to put on "God Mode" this significantly changes how the game plays and makes you more powerful with each death

My strongest runs have been with Demeter and using Arachne's sash until it breaks, then Chaos keepsake for those random but potentially game changing boons

So far my best run was with the moons fountain charges, that gives you x heals and refresh at fountains.

Apollos omega cast upgrade was my first completed run, it was doing 2k dmg per cast for me by the end stages. Just so good

One of my fave combos is Apollos attack buff, that gives a ton more range and damage. This together with the axe makes each hit almost the whole screen wide

i guess double dash was op in the original Hades, they removed it, i used to just spam dash and hit

Got 220h in this game already and - Deadelus hammer upgrades aren't that good(understatement of the century) in second part of Hades so it depends on a weapon, and game will throw you those hammers until you get atleast 2.
So It isn't insta-pick for me anymore except on Knives, but game throws you those until you have two, so I'd rather take Chaos if it is present.

I did beat Hecathe on my 3rd try, the second boss fight is my current roadblock

I am so angry at this game for limiting the early runs too much. I hate it. Which is a shame, given its potential.

I made it to my first run against chronos on about my 13 night and he actually wouldn’t let me pause the game to watch videos😭 on how to beat chronos. I got him to about 10% health fully blind and I died

one day before this dropped. i looked at hades and thoguht hmm i wonder when the second game is coming out? XD

I don't like the emphasis on sprinting instead of dodging so far. And all my builds feel like I'm hitting with a wet noodle once I'm in act 3. I started consistently getting past the act 2 boss after 4 or 5 runs but it takes ages to finish each stage, mostly spamming specials at range with scorch on them.

This is my 2nd rogue game I've played I quit playing returnal because runs took so long. I got to the 3rd main boss in returnal and quit.
I have been having fun with hades 2 and not normally my type of game but this one is a fun one.

Chronos in phase 2 is f*ing garbage to read. You hust pray you stand in the right area or get punished if you don't
